This summer, I had the honour of visiting The Secret Farm for their pick-your-own strawberry soiree, and it was a delightful experience. Nestled in the picturesque countryside, the farm offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. As I wandered through the rows of strawberry plants, I was amazed at how abundant and ripe the berries were. Picking them straight from the vine was both fun and satisfying, with each berry tasting sweeter than the last. Nectar!The farm itself was a haven of tranquillity. After filling my basket with strawberries, I took the time to explore the rest of what this natural paradise had to offer. The commitment to sustainability and organic farming practices was evident, and it felt so supportive to embrace such a mindful operation. The farm’s warm, welcoming atmosphere made it a perfect day out.Before heading home, I couldn’t resist picking up some of the farm’s homemade strawberry jam and other products, knowing they would bring back memories of this lovely day whenever I enjoyed them.
