EXPERIENCE PINK AT NYX’S BARBIE BEACH HOUSE POP-UP IN COVENT GARDEN, LONDON

Starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, the world of entertainment was eagerly waiting for the release of the movie Barbie in late July. It’s therefore no surprise that Barbie's large pops of pink have popped up across London these past few weeks, identifying with the timeless brand. Did you know Barbie's car also showed up at the famous pink London Eye, and many public buses and cabs also brandished the glorious pink shade?

In contribution, NYX Professional Makeup, in partnership with Warner Bro, brought a slice of beach paradise with its new Barbie-themed pop-up display to the shopping district Covent Garden a week before the movie premiered. Here, London queens and kings heralded their nostalgic reaction in full view, shopping for the cosmetic brand’s limited-edition Barbie makeup collection.

You may recall that when the famous Barbie doll first came out, it served as a fashion model. That is why NYX provided their Barbie makeup collection. Their contribution was an excellent complement for those who are passionate about fashion and always want to look great. Guess how this experience materialised? Spectacularly!

The pop-up recreated the hot pink experience of Malibu. But this time, fans could experience Barbie's Dreamhouse. Also, on-site professionals aided visitors to test exciting products and discover fresh summer looks. You could even reinvent your dream makeup artistry of Barbie and Ken. Even better, you could buy products to use later at those post promotion parties.

Many kits were featured, like the nine fantastic shades of nail polish. Another astonishing kit, inspired by the vibrant colors in the movie, was the credit card-sized eyeshadow palettes. Exquisitely attached were a butter gloss chain, two blushers and a highlighter. Bliss! Other makeup ranges purchased during the showcase were Barbie Butter Lip Gloss, Barbie Jumbo Eye Pencil Kit and Barbie Flip Phone Mirror.

Visitors matched the electrifying Kenergy portrayed in the movie with the photo booth. The beach hut photobooth allowed visitors to retain memories of their newly created summer looks. Another interactive experience offered by NYX is the pool area and lifeguard tower. This inclusion is a top-notch recreation addition to the pop-up fashion experience.

This wonderful experience lasted a mere three days between July 14th and July 16th. This short euphoria was available for 8 hours on Friday and Saturday between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. However, it lasted only 7 hours, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the last day. Many fans would walk a thousand miles for this partnership between NYX and Warner Bros. to be rekindled after the Barbie Movie has been released.

Choosing the iconic East Piazza to create an exciting moment is unmatchable. It’s a perfect fit because Covent Garden has often received recognition as the Mecca for London beauty shoppers. Another undeniable highlight is the synergy of the collections with the film.

The experience is such a much-needed relief for fans. And similar ones are being anticipated. Barbie is certainly partying in the capital and beyond once more. Long may it last!
