SCINTILATING SUNFLOWER SCENES AT THE PATCH, MK


Have you ever pondered how best you could enjoy your cherished, precious free time with your loved ones? Here is a great option for you to consider – the incredibly alluring array of sunflowers, flora and fauna at the Patch MK. This location is literally sprawling with natural attractions that beggars belief and offers solace to our solitary angst. It is popular for many reasons and they have several daily' events for visitors to enjoy, but it is always centred around the ambiance of their exquisite sunflowers.

As you meander along the path at the entrance, you will be greeted by a huge “Patch MK” sign, from which you can take beautiful shots. They have 5 acres of world renowned incredible sunflowers, available to be pre-picked and taken away to the sanctuary of your home. The sunflower trail is a tranquil, peaceful stroll where one can explore and enjoy nature to the full. There is also a mind-blowing viewing platform where you can glory in the sunflower expanse. The sight, from the platform, is nothing short of magnificent.

The Patch MK is also renowned for its barrel cars, costing £2.50 per ride, where you can explore the pumpkin patch and 3 acres of wheat fields. All areas are accessible, including the celebrated and hugely popular maize trail and bang in the middle; there are hay bale mountains and a vintage tractor. The kids are welcome to clamber all over the hay as well as drive this ancient relic of days gone by.

Tickets to the Patch MK have to be pre-booked at £2.95 per person or £9.95 for a family of four, while under 2s can get in free. Check out their Facebook page to book viewings at certain places because they have proven to be extremely popular. Parking? Not a problem. Plenty of spaces and free as a bird. There are clean toilets (a refreshing change!) on the premises for visitors’ comfort. The food quality is excellent, and their prices are just what you would expect with BBQ servings, soft drinks and ice cream available. Although tickets are not refundable, they are can be transferred to a future trip.
