Even though it is a self-guided tour, you can approach the staff or event organizers with tags if an issue occurs during the tour.
The incredible highlight of this year’s tour is that there is a story behind the lights for visitors to follow as they meander through the trails. In addition to the entertaining sparks of the story, there are many extra fun activities for visitors. You can make a wish in the wishing well, clear frosty windows, and learn about the tree spirits. You will find the oldest tree at the exhibition centre at your final destination of the illuminated trails. This tree has an intriguing story with captivating feedback from every witness.
Visitors can even take a gentle walk through the light tunnel. The tunnel is accessible to differently enabled people on pushchairs and wheelchairs, as is the rest of this trail. However, the show does not accept pets. But people of all ages are welcome. While walking, you can enjoy delicious hot chocolate, tasty cake or fine wine to add some taste to the light show. There are several food options outside the light show, such as hotdogs, burgers, sweets and other snacks.
The light show ticket only costs £7.50 for adults and £5.50 for concessions. The pocket-friendly ticket price is only one of the reasons this exhibition is worth multiple visits. Stockwood Illuminated takes place between December 19th and 27th. Likewise, Stockwood Discovery Centre is open to visitors all year round, with free parking for visitors.
